To keep you up to date in a quick blog, it is just before 8am in Monte Verde. As mom checks out at the front desk, I figured I would post a quick note. We had a long drive here yesterday, and to say the least, treacherous. The road getting up into the mountains was incredibly rough, and took us over an hour just to drive 20 kilometers. Thank goodness for 4WD!
Anyway, what a total change of scenery. It is so lush and green and completely different than what we were used to down in Tamarindo. We took a coffee, chocolate, sugar cane tour yesterday at Don Juan's and it was incredibly interesting. I loved it.

I must keep this short as we are about to get picked up any minute by a shuttle to take us to the zipline park. In total, 18 ziplines and 15 platforms, as well as a tarazan swing. As for me, I am totally excited. Mom, on the other hand, is pretty nervous. The first thing she said this am when we woke was that she was scared. She barely ate breakfast. I told her she has one of two options,
1. Live life
2. Be boring

She just laughed at me. Anyway, we will try to get some video clips to upload and share.

  1. I chuckled when I read your post, Jessica. Your mom will be just fine. I loved zip lining but I am not sure about the Tarzan swing. I am so glad you. Two are experiencing so many new adventures!

  2. Well, I just showed grandma your blogs and she said - "Jessica look out for your mom as she appears to not have any sense!!!!Stay out of the streets at night!"

  3. Zip lining sounds fun. I hope she does it. But I agree with Leslie, I'm not so sure about the Tarzan swing.

Your two choices cracked me up!
